Right On, Occupy Wall Street!

Have you been watching the Occupy Wall Street [OWS] crowd?  It is a giggle to watch the POTUS try to sign up for these morons without getting too close.  Others, like Nancy Pelosi, are just gaga.

I’ve seen Bill Buster on This Week and on Charlie Rose   he’s a blogger and early occupier that the media have made spokesman for OWS.  This guy makes the sophomoric look like Greek philosophers – not even the 60s crowd was this childish.

George Will says the following objectives have been attributed to the OWS movement:

·         “Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment”.

·         $20-an-hour minimum wage (the United Auto Workers just negotiated a $16 entry wage with GM).

·         Ending “the fossil fuel economy”.

·         “Open borders” so “anyone can travel anywhere to work and live”.

·         $1 trillion for infrastructure;  $1 trillion for “ecological restoration”.

·         “Free college education.”

·         And forgiveness of “all debt on the entire planet period.”

Bill Buster is indignantly more modest and hopelessly as dumb.  When asked what OWS stands for he says the corrupt media just want a sound bite:

“… Keep waiting.  We are not right, we are not left.  We are the American People.  People is a name for actual "human beings", humans being rarely considered in DC.”

[In the background the Aflac duck is shouting, “Whaaaaaa”?]

Buster gave this answer on Charlie Rose and Rose said he didn’t want just a sound bite on his show, so Buster should spell out the purpose of OWS and take all the time he needed.  Buster gave us more incoherence.

Despite the fact that there has never been a dumber bunch of people in the streets, Democrats, progressives, the labor movement, every brain-dead lefty celebrity, lefty pundits, looney left academics and most of the rest of the left wing fringe are signing up for this wonderful ground swell of populist sentiment.

George Will says more power to them;  he thinks the movement correctly represents progressivism’s spirit and intellect.  He urges Democrats to sign up for the movement and he urges OWS to run candidates they find suitable to their cause.

Me too.
